Individual, couples, and family Mental Health Counseling

Serving the Treasure Valley.

Hi I’m Rylee. I am so happy you are here.

Being human means feeling deeply.
Grief, beauty, fear, love — it all lives within us and yes, it can be painful and uncomfortable.

Sometimes pain takes root in quiet ways.
It settles in the body, shapes how we move through the world,
how we connect, how we see ourselves.
But pain is not proof that you're broken.

I believe healing isn’t about erasing the past —
it’s about making enough space to carry it differently.
To breathe again.
To feel the full range of who you are, without being consumed by it.

This is a space for that kind of healing.
A place to slow down, be met with warmth,
and encouragement remember your own capacity for change.

Led by me, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor,
this practice holds room for your story and journey.

Who I am

A woman with long wavy brown hair wearing a black top, a light beige cardigan, and light blue jeans, sitting on a modern brown chair. She is smiling and looking at the camera. Beside her is a small black table with a clear glass vase containing tall, dried pampas grass in shades of brown, beige, and white, set against a plain white background.

Mission Statement

I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for individuals healing from complex trauma. I believe that true healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and accepted for who they are, with their full story honored and valued. My approach is grounded in authentic connection, curiosity, and empathy, balancing professional expertise with heartfelt care. I walk alongside my clients with humility and respect, supporting them as they uncover their inner strength, rebuild safety, and move toward lasting growth and empowerment.

Brief descriptions of the types of therapy utilized.

Did you know therapists use many different approaches in counseling? Sometimes what didn’t work before, might simply of not been the right fit for you, or maybe a key stepping stone was missing. Every step you take, even the uncertain ones, brings you closer to healing. There’s hope in trying again, and with the right support, you can discover a new path forward.

Our bodies are naturally designed to protect and adapt, but sometimes we get caught in fight, flight, or freeze — or hold onto habits and routines that no longer serve us. I believe in the healing power of reconnecting your mind and body, being fully present with yourself, and uncovering the deeper “why.” Together, we’ll explore these patterns and develop the skills to regulate, heal, and move forward—with compassion and curiosity.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a gentle, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and overwhelming experiences. It works by helping the brain process and store painful memories adaptively, so they no longer feel as distressing. Many people find it brings relief when talk therapy alone hasn't been enough for traumatic events.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindful, compassionate approach to therapy that helps you make space for difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting them. Through mindfulness and values-based action, ACT supports you in living a more meaningful, grounded life — even in the presence of discomfort.

  • Person-Centered Therapy offers a space where you’re met with empathy, respect, and genuine presence. The therapist walks beside you — a fellow traveler on your journey — trusting in your inner wisdom and capacity to grow. It’s about being seen, heard, and supported as you find your own way forward.

"Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you. It is the wound that we carry within ourselves, the imprint of experiences that have overwhelmed our capacity to cope." -Dr. Gabor Mate
